About

I'm Megan Mitchell, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life's challenges. My professional background includes community mental health, trauma treatment, clinical leadership, and working with individuals navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns.

I believe therapy is more than managing symptoms. It is an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, explore the experiences and patterns that shape your life, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized, integrating a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.

I recognize that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable and that meaningful growth isn't always easy. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we can work toward greater self-awareness, emotional well being, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.
