Non-Judgmental, Compassionate Care

We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses.
Carl Jung
What To Expect
Through the therapeutic relationship, I will provide a non-judgmental, safe, and compassionate space for exploration. Together we will go beyond symptom management and work toward understanding the root of what you are experiencing. My goal is to empower you to see your own greatness and abilities, while asking questions to help you explore yourself more deeply. I use a holistic approach, with emphasis on the integration of mind, body, and spirit connection. Together, we will work to resolve past trauma to enhance your present-day experiences and relationships.

While the counseling process can be challenging, you are not alone. It would be my honor to come alongside you and your journey toward hope and healing.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors and Associates/NBCC Certification and Credentialing, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through Evergreen Certifications and have completed The Trauma Research Foundation's certificate program in traumatic stress studies.
I have practiced as a child and family therapist, a trauma therapist and clinical director of a trauma crisis center. I have experience providing expert witness testimony in courts regarding mental health, various forms of abuse and human and child development. I have worked as a substance use and addictions counselor, a victim advocate and have volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem. I currently volunteer for my local regional Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team and hold a position on the board, providing support to local residents and first responders.
Throughout my experience I have expanded my specialties and strengthened a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), emotion coaching, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Circle of Security Parenting Training (COS-P), Gottman Method, play therapy, sand tray therapy, art therapy and supportive talk therapy, along with other approaches of therapy.
